Summation - March 24

Here is an easy-to-see summation of my recent studies of the Voynich text (Voynichese).

It is incomplete and still needs refinement. In particular, the counter cycle needs clarification.

But, as far as it goes, I contend that it gives an accurate and illuminating account of the basic structures of the text.

I present Voynichese as an artificial construction, a unique fusion of linguistics and cosmology. The guiding idea is the year made text

Here are some things about the text for which this model provides an explanation.

(In the main I have summarized data gleaned from a thread at Voynich Ninja posted by Thomas Coon and others in 2022.)

I want to demonstrate the explanatory power of this model. It explains the curious statistical properties we find in the Voynich text:

* [o] is by far the most common glyph in the text, followed by [y] (a modified [o]). This preponderance of the [o] glyph is explained by the Bedrock Text.

*In about 80% of cases <y> is word-final. This is explained by the QOKEEDY paradigm.

*About 40% of all words in the text end in [y]. This is explained by the QOKEEDY paradigm.

*In about 50% of cases [d] is followed by [y]. This is explained by the QOKEEDY paradigm.

*[k] is proceeded by [o] in about 50% of cases. This is explained by the QOKEEDY paradigm.

*[t] is preceeded by [o] in about 55% of cases. This is explained by the primitive paradigm.

*In about 80% of cases [qo] is followed by either [k] or [t]. This is explained by the QOKEEDY paradigm and the [t] of the underlying primitive paradigm.

*[q] is word-initial in about 99% of cases. This is explained by the QOKEEDY paradigm.

*[n] is word-final in about 95% of cases. This is explained by the CHOLDAIIN paradigm.

[i] is followed by another [i] or [n] in about 90% of cases. This is explained by the CHOLDAIIN paradigm.

*The fifty most common words with [ot-] as prefix all have valid parallels beginning with [ok-]. This is explained by the primitive and the QOKEEDY paradigms.

Many other statistics concerning the placement and preferences of glyphs or bigrams in the text, along with other perplexing features, can be accounted for by this model as it stands.
